Nice tin punched lantern having a glass front along with unusual form. Even though this lantern was made in the 20th century it still has a great look offering old bubbled glass and a cleated bottom. Accepts a candle that will illuminate a series of diamond and triangle design elements by casting a soft glow.
The black surface mimics ashphaltum and lends a dry finish. Lantern is in very good condition as the glass is intact without any breaks to report. Glass is removable by lifting upward and the door in the back will allow easy access to the candle. Appropriate vent holes located at the top.
This enchanting lantern will certainly draw attention anywhere it is placed. You can add an electrified candle inside to illuminate it’s beauty for all to see and appreciate during the evening hours and on dark stormy days! Enjoy!
Stands 18 ½” tall extended, measures almost 7” across (glass front), base measures 6” across and measures 4 ½” front to back.
